A society for the promotion of all kinds of writing, but with a particular emphasis on poetry; monthly open readings; occasional workshops and seminars. November's theme for the night: Girl's/Boy's Night Out
For this month only - Poetzinc is on the Second Tuesday of the month and Gold Coin donation. (due to the GG's having a bolt around a grass track)

So, have a ponder, reflection, meditation and writes some inspiring telling words....
The recently published Australian anthology Mother Load: Australian Women Poetry 1986 - 2008, which includes poetry from Yve Louis, is available from Dymocks and has poems that range over the broad and colourful landscape of mothers, children and the whole host of life and challenges that lies in between.
Poetzinc's latest Anthology has been published and is available from booksellers around town. At only $10 and with such depth and so much enjoyment, a bargain no less.
December's theme for Poetzinc - Sandcastles
So if this theme creates a whirlwind of thoughts and words for you, pen it and bring it to the December reading, first Tuesday night of the month and read it nice and loud for all to partake.
Upcoming event: Christmas Dinner - scheduled for our monthly meeting on Tuesday, December 1st. Enjoy our normal feast of words with a feast of food. Members are encouraged to start attending around 6.30pm to have time to order and commence eating prior to the feast of words flowing.
